Phytosaurus are not really crocodiles
Phytosaurus are not actually crocodiles, but they did kind of look like them. There were some pretty interesting Archosaurs alive in the Triassic, and this was one of them.
The sketch itself was based on a photo of a museum mount from this blog, done in pen.
